The first part of this publication consists of an annual economic review of Guam. A chapter on population, housing, employment, and standard of living (pp. ) presents data on population, growth and density by census tract, ; migration and natural increase, ; and households and families, and Malta conducts a census of population and housing every ten years. The census held in November managed to count an estimated 96% of the population. A preliminary report was issued in April , and results were weighted to an estimate for % of the population. Native Maltese people make up the majority of the island.   At the Census, per cent of the Malta-born aged 15 years and over had some form of higher non school qualifications compared to per cent of the Australian population. Among the Malta-born, per cent had Diploma level or higher* qualifications and per cent had Certificate level qualifications.
